Somewhat unfortunate positioning of the TV, we kept bumping into it with our head. :-) Had to be a little creative to be able to hang the shower head on the shower wall.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Martigues and had a fantastic experience. the value for money was exceptional. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the accommodations and services provided. Secondly, the attention to detail was impressive. The room had a quirky and unique design, with a piano separating the bathing area from the bed. It was unlike any other hotel room I've stayed in before. Additionally, the location was excellent. The hotel was just a few minutes' walk away from the beautiful town center of Martigues, where you can find several restaurants, bars, bistro's, and shops. It was perfect for exploring the pretty town and enjoying the local attractions.

All was great, no improvements needed.

Clair hotel offers functional rooms. Free parking and a good breakfast. Walk into he city of Martigues for restaurants and cafes. Staff is friendly and there to help. Rates are good.

Shower area needs some maintenance as funghus starts growing and shower head can not be hung. Also installing thermostatic water controls will prevent shower water suddenly getting warm or cold.

We very much liked the distinctive style of furniture and decoration at the hotel. It is also very well situated and has a very pleasant atmosphere.

The location was perfect, close to the town center and just a short walk to the picturesque part of Martigues with plenty of restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The rooms were beautifully designed, like something out of a pirate movie, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The air conditioning was a bonus, especially during the hot summer days. I also loved the breakfast, with the yummy homemade cake. the value for money at this hotel was outstanding.

we didn't get our promised free parking space, so we had to pay extra money for a parking space some minutes away... receptionist was not very helpful and friendly

We stayed in a room close to the town centre with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The location was perfect and the staff were helpful and welcoming. The bathroom was lovely and clean and the breakfast was good.

The internet connection was very unstable.

We stayed 3 nights and asked to change our room for a larger one as we wanted more space. Madame was more than helpful and offered us a choice of 2! We were very happy! Martigues is terrific and 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the squares and canals! Breakfast is extra. We ate it on our last morning and it was very good. Lots of choice and as much as you want. Parking is around the back of the hotel, but we had no problems with a space. Marseille is a train ride away- use the local bus to go to the station, but check times for buses and trains first! Bus stop down the road with times! You need to change buses for the station, but 1E covers the whole journey! Ask the driver to tell you where to change buses.Very helpful drivers! You do need to speak French though!

We loved the shabby chic charm and quirky rooms with comfortable and fresh bedding. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and spoke good English. The breakfast room was nice and bright with good quality products. The hotel's convenient location allowed us to explore this picturesque city's center on foot with plenty of restaurants around.
